For those of you living under a rock 🪨 this last week, we have some big ⚠️ news ⚠️ Yes, it is Super Bowl weekend - but the NBA had quite the monstrous week itself, with one of the most shocking 🤯 trades in NBA history going down between the Lakers and Mavericks (and the Jazz for those of you keeping count). In a move that has overshadowed even the Super Bowl hype, Luka Dončić, the Slovenian superstar, is now in Los Angeles with the Lakers after a blockbuster trade. While the Chiefs and Eagles were busy prepping for their big game in the Big Easy, the entire sports universe seems to be focused on this seismic shift in the NBA landscape. Move over, LeBron, there's a new king 👑 in town! This news has sent shockwaves through social media, with fans and analysts alike buzzing about the implications of this mega-deal. Even your grandma is probably texting 📱 about Luka Dončić right now (and it isn’t because he is the most handsome fella 🤷🏻‍♂️)

So for that other thing happening this weekend 🏈 Forget brotherly love, because, for this Super Bowl, Travis Kelce takes the field without facing off against his big bro Jason (sorry, Donna Kelce, only one son to root for this time!). But hey, at least there's no risk of a family feud at the post-game dinner. The real question for this Super Bowl rematch will be whether the Eagles can limit the (in)famous Mahomes magic 🪄 and whether the Chiefs can slow down Saquads 💨 Regardless of who you are rooting for, we can all agree that it would be nice if the commercials and Halftime Show don’t overshadow the game this year (too much at least 😉)
