Hey BettrNation family! Hope you are having a great week so far! For those of us in New York, it was a sad, dreary day yesterday ☹️ - and not just because of the weather🌧️ The NY Yankees lost last night to the Blue Jays and were kicked out of the playoffs, in what was a forgettable end to a (mostly) forgettable season. New York 🗽 returns as the center-of-attention tonight with the NY Giants hosting their rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, tonight on Thursday Night Football 🏈 The start to the Jaxson Dart era has certainly been a roller coaster🎢, with an improbable win against the Chargers two weeks ago but then a dud of a performance last week against the lowly Saints! All of New York is hoping that the Giants show up like they did against the Chargers, because if they don’t, the defending champs likely won’t take it easy on them, especially after their first loss of the season last week!
Meanwhile, while New Yorkers are licking their wounds, those in Las Vegas appear to be on the verge of celebrating 🥳 (another) WNBA championship! Congrats to A’ja Wilson & Co., as they are one game away from the trophy - and a sweep 🧹 of the Mercury!
