🍾 New Year, Same Story 🤔

Welcome to 2025, BettrNation family! We hope this year is full of great things for you (for your bets and otherwise 😁) and that your resolutions are off to a strong start 💪 

While many of us look forward to having “fresh” starts in the new year, it appears that no one in the NFL or College Football got the memo 🤷‍♂️ In the NFL, aside from the Washington Commanders, it looks like we will have the usual cast of characters in the playoffs this year (although let’s see if Joe Burrow can will his team into the playoffs). For the CFP, we are left with 4️⃣ blue bloods in Ohio State, Texas, Notre Dame, and Penn State, and while the absence of Georgia and Alabama may be a surprise, this CFP Final Four does make one thing clear: to be the King of CFB 👑, you need to have some money behind you in this new era of college athletics 🤑

Despite the same (**expected**) faces in the NFL and CFP, let’s just hope for some exciting, competitive games in these playoffs! We also have much to look forward to as conference play starts up in College Basketball and as teams start hitting their grove in the NBA! If you happen to be a fan of a “good” team, we hope that team brings you much joy and excitement this year; for the rest of us, at least we can look forward to this next year/season, which will hopefully be the year that our teams FINALLY become relevant again 🤞😢

Here’s to hoping your teams (and bets) show up better than Saquon Barkley will this weekend (much to the dismay of football fans everywhere - except in NY) 🫠 Most importantly, remember:

With Saquon sitting just 101 rushing yards away from the record, it would have been a perfect setup for breaking this renowned record. Even without breaking this record, Saquon has given us some memorable moments this year, and now, with him sitting out this game, the pressure to bring back the Lombardi Trophy 🏆 to Philly will be even more intense.
