🏈 The Big 12's BIG Weekend

Hi BettrNation family! Congrats to you Dodgers fans on your (repeat) World Series championship 🍾 There is a dynasty forming in LA, and it may be just the beginning of a much longer period of dominance from the Dodgers (assuming that they keep paying the bills 🤑 to maintain the roster!). While Dodgers fans were celebrating the victory on the West Coast, NY Jets fans could be heard screaming (or perhaps crying? 😭) on Tuesday after the Jets had a fire sale right before the NFL trade deadline. Some teams decided to double down on their push for championship 🏆 run this season, while others - like the Jets - seem to be positioning for a(nother) rebuild. Time will tell whether those moves (and some of the other trades) will pay off! For Jerry Jones’s sake in Dallas, hopefully the Cowboys don’t have to wait too long to see a return on their investment 🤞

Not to be outdone, this week was also a big one in the world of college athletics! The first CFP rankings were released (also on Tuesday), and college basketball 🏀 has also officially returned! Despite giving us a preliminary window into the mind of the CFP Committee, one thing we do know is that the final CFP field will be much different than these first rankings, especially considering many of the contenders will start playing each other and kicking each other out of contention! That is particularly true this week for the Big 12 with #7 BYU taking on #8 Texas Tech. Let the (CFP) chaos begin 🎉

Here’s to hoping your bets perform better than the Indiana Pacers’ start to the season, as the 2025 NBA Finals contender is off to a 1-7 start with Tyrese Haliburton leading the way! As always, remember friends, don’t gamble - bet bettr!
